Exciting news! Our Modern Market at A Local Collective is making a return, and we're extending a warm invitation for your shop to join us this spring!

What: Spring Modern Market
When: Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10-4
Where: Downtown Waterloo at The Corner (Formerly A Local Collective HQ) parking lot and North Front Street in Waterloo
Why: We want to celebrate our fave small shops in one spot!
Investment: Either $160 for one outdoor 10x10 space, or $120 for a table space inside Suite 1 and both include: marketing, rentals, permits, street closure, food trucks, influencers, security, fitting room attendant, etc. If you need a bigger space, please feel free to add another vendor booth on your order.

There are 2 options for mobile shops:

  • First, you can get the square footage you’d need for your mobile footprint.

  • Second, if you want to pull through a 10×10 space and have the front of your unit on the grass, and sideways you still fit within the 10 feet wide, you are able to just purchase a 10×10 space.

Tent: BYOT (Bring your own tent & weights) « required

We are aware that Junkstock is this weekend - we want to capitalize on the crowd that will be in our area. We are just a mile north of there in downtown Waterloo!

SET-UP: Saturday, May 2, 7:30am-10am
TEAR-DOWN: May 2, 4pm-6pm

New (ish): There are a few categories of vendors that we will start limiting vendor spaces to make it successful. We have seen over the past years that some business types when there are multiple, it is not as successful. (For example: hat bars, ear piercing, permanent jewelry, etc.). Please feel free to reach out if you have questions on how many vendors are in your category before you book.

As always: This event is open to members only. If we do not fill the spots, then we will open to other businesses. You as a member get first dibs and a discount on your space.

This event is non-refundable - we only have 44 spots and tend to fill up quickly. The look and feel of this event is very important to all of us, so please have your booth space looking pleasing for your customers. Please, no sharing or sub-leasing booth spaces.
